From Framework to Finish

Originally built in 1923, this home carried decades of hidden wear beneath its surfaces. During demolition, we uncovered compromised floor joists requiring structural reinforcement before any aesthetic work could begin, and a new shower or laundry could be installed.

The subfloor was reinforced, framing was constructed to properly enclose the shower and laundry space, and a complete waterproofing system was installed using Schluter® components and Kerdi board. Walls were removed so the space could be expanded. Once uncovered, an original window was repurposed to add light to the new shower. Tile was then laid throughout the space in accordance with the Schluter® system with precision and care.

From demolition and structural correction to finish installation, this project demanded both craftsmanship, design, and disciplined sequencing.

We would be honored to bring the same level of care to your home.
